  Stay clear of Sweet Treats Bakery in Covington, GA on the square. We were not happy with the way our cake turned out for my daughter's baby shower. The lines which ran down the side of the cake were very sloppy. The circles were slopped on and and some were not even completely round. There was icing smeared all over the bow that was attached to the cake. The bows were secured by toothpicks which could be seen from the top of the cake. The fondant topper was lumpy and not smooth. And to top it off, the cake was given to us in a box with no lid. I ask how to protect the cake and was told that I could leave it out overnight with no cover for protection and that they do it all the time. For the price we paid, I expected a much more professional job. When I called to express my concerns to the owner, I was yelled at and told that he didn't have time to deal with me. He threatened to hang up on me several times as I calmly tried to explain the problems. He was rude and completely belligerent during the whole conversation. Finally he asked me to send him pictures of the cake and the problem areas. I sent them 3 days ago and have still not heard back from him. I highly doubt that he will. Do yourself a favor and find a place with good references, experienced bakers and decorators and above all, a baker that cares about their customers. This is clearly not that place!!!
