  Went here on a recommendation from a local. Walked in no hello just "how many?" woah woah what happened to southern hospitality? Decor is dated but that doesn't matter much. They had two whiteboards that showed the specials. Table service was ok but not especially friendly.
  We ordered off the special's board which was a choice of one meat and two sides for 7.49. Two of us had the smoky mountain chicken. Sides: sweet potatoes (stringy and overly sweet) green beans (would bet these just came out of a can. I like canned green beans but I am at a restaurant after all) mashed potatoes (looked like they had been frozen and then unfrozen gravy was good) corn bread stuffing (really good served with cranberry sauce).
  The smoky mountain chicken is chicken tenders (appeared to be poached or baked) with bbq sauce, onions and melted cheese. Sounds good right? But the bbq sauce was like water and it's just a square piece of cheese melted on top. Thank God for the onions because it's the only thing giving this dish any flavour. Also it's a pretty small portion.
  The other person had chicken livers which she said she enjoyed. Her sides were fried okra ave rutabega. She said tree okra was mediocre The rutabega was yummy.
  The plates cafeteria style with your sides in a bowl on the plate.
  We all had sweet tea. We ordered it half ave half which was perfect for us otherwise it would've been way too sweet.
  
  In all I would never return nor recommend this place to anyone. There's no love in the food or the service. Thanks but no thanks.

  Down to earth local steakhouse. A gem. Very affordable. The 16 oz ribeye I got was good. Service was excellent. Only beer or wine though, no cocktails. Def go back.
